Flight Reviews for Foreign Candidates
Did you know that foreign operators need to apply for and receive their Special Flight Operations Certificate (SFOC) before flying or completing their flight review?
SFOC applications may take up to 30 days to process. Here are the requirements for obtaining an SFOC, including for foreign operators under CAR 903.01(c).
NOTE: Foreign operators may still operate a micro drone (less than 250g) without an SFOC, but a registered drone (250g or greater) and an SFOC are required for a foreign operator flight review.
