Vacation and drone

VACATIONAND DRONE

You'd like to travel with your drone?

The idea of capturing unique, out-of-the-ordinary images is very tempting indeed! What's more, you'll be able to see landscapes and visit tourist attractions from a completely different perspective! Before you leave, be sure to get all the information you need, as a variety of regulations can get in the way.

Regulations vary enormously from country to country. Some countries have regulations to follow, while others have none at all. Obviously, safety comes first.

Here are a few general rules:

- Don't fly your drone over, or too close to, people (and animals).

- Always keep your device within visual range

- Stay away from airports, militarized zones and penal institutions.

Here's a website with drone regulations from around the world:

Travel byplane?

Another essential aspect to consider is to check with your airline, if applicable, to find out the rules and special conditions for transporting your drone on board an aircraft. For example, batteries must be kept separate from the drone, as their contents are highly dangerous and unstable.

Finally, a website where you'll find a wealth of information about bringing your drone with you when you travel:
